Indufor Strengthens Its Competence by Appointing New Staff Member

Mr. Jussi Silventoinen, M.Sc. Forest Sciences from the University of Helsinki, Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry, born 1970, joined the Indufor team in September 2007 as Head of the Management and Quality Consulting Team.
Prior to joining Indufor, Mr. Silventoinen worked as a senior consultant in the United States at a wood products consulting company called The Beck Group. During the past fifteen years, he has managed and completed numerous consulting assignments including feasibility studies, acquisition assistance and other strategic planning, timber supply and demand analyses, industry benchmarking studies, and market research studies. He has considerable experience in various segments of the wood products industry including softwood and hardwood lumber, plywood, OSB, MDF and particleboard, engineered wood products and value added products (such as flooring).
Mr. Silventoinen is an expert in the North American wood products industry, but he also has experience in other regions of the world, including Europe, Chile, Russia and China.
