Indufor to Provide Forest Sector Services to Embassy of Finland in Hanoi, Vietnam

Indufor Oy has been selected to provide support services on forest sector assignments with the Embassy of Finland in Hanoi under a long-term framework contract agreement. Indufor will provide services within the areas of:
- Management of forest policy
- Forest plantations, reforestation, biofuel production and biodiversity conservation
- Forest industry
- Forests and climate change (second service provider)
Finland is one of the leading donors in forest sector in Vietnam, and continues her commitment to the Forest Sector Support Partnership and the Trust Fund for Forests which is a multi-donor fund supporting the implementation of Vietnam’s National Forest Development Strategy.
Indufor Oy has carried out 16 forest sector assignments in Vietnam since 1993, with specially strong track record in forest sector policy development in the country. Indufor recently completed a five-year project Support to the Forestry Sector Support Programme and Partnership Coordination Office, under the Forest Development Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
