Indufor Employs New Forest Inventory Expert

Mr. Ilkka Norjamäki, M.Sc. in Forest Sciences from the University of Helsinki, faculty of Agriculture and Forestry, born in 1976, joined Indufor as forest inventory specialist in March 2006.
Previously Ilkka has worked as a researcher in the University of Helsinki. He has also worked as a remote sensing and GIS specialist for Jaakko Pöyry Group (Soil and Water Ltd.), WM-data and the former Novosat Oy. From the beginning of 2005 he has worked in Mozambique as an inventory and remote sensing specialist.
Ilkka will focus on forest inventories on different scales, land use planning and GIS and mapping projects. He has competence also in illegal logging control and forest fire management.
Ilkka will work for Natural Resource Management team in Helsinki. He will report to Mr. Petri Lehtonen.
