Project cycle management and implementation support
Development financing agencies and their partners need high quality services in project and program cycle management to be able to effectively and efficiently deliver on development co-operation goals. The same applies also to Sector Wide Approaches (SWAps) which also need to be supported by rigorous planning, appraisal, monitoring and evaluation. In addition to contributing to aid effectiveness, high quality project and programme cycle management services provide a basis for accountability and transparency in the use of aid funds.
Project and programme implementation support includes long and short-term technical assistance and financial management of development co-operation funds. Effective delivery of these support services requires specialised technical knowledge and sound systems for financial and personnel management, often implemented in remote parts of the world.
Indufor provides these services for international financing institutions, such as the World Bank, the Nordic Development Fund (NDF) and the Nordic Investment Bank (NIB), and bilateral donors, such as the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA), the German Technical Co-operation Agency (GTZ) and the European Commission (EC).
