Anne Arvola, Senior Consultant - Forest Policy, holds a master’s degree in tropical forestry (M.Sc. For.) from the University of Helsinki (2002).
Anne Arvola has experience in development cooperation in forestry and natural resource sectors and in marketing and business development. She has in-depth knowledge and experience of Project Cycle Management, project planning, appraisals, administration, management and evaluation.
She also has experience in forest certification, project monitoring and evaluation, small-scale plantation forestry in the tropics and reforestation with indigenous tree species, as well as in participatory methods in natural resources management. Arvola has also worked in forestry training, education and produced training materials.
She is fluent in Finnish, English and Spanish.
