Kaisu Annala, Senior Consultant, holds a master's degree in wood chemistry (M.Sc., Eng) from the Helsinki University of Technology (1982).
Kaisu Annala has a wide experience in international forest industry implementation projects and studies throughout the mill life cycle. She has led environmental and innovation teams and participated in the strategy work in globally operating organizations. In addition to the Nordic countries, her major assignments have been located in Portugal, Uruguay, Latvia, Australia, United States, Thailand and South Africa. Besides the latest pulp mill technology in its all areas (fibre, energy, chemicals, environment etc.), biorefineries, Cleantech, water reuse and sustainability in general are close to her heart. Quality, environmental and energy efficiency management and assessment and last but not least, stakeholder relations and communications are her key competences.
She is fluent in Finnish, English, Spanish and Swedish and communicates also in German and Russian.
