Marisa Camargo, Consultant - Environmental Law and Policy, holds a master’s degree in environmental law (LL.M.) from the Vermont Law School (2005) and a master’s degree on environmental management (MEM) from Yale University (2007), in the USA.
Marisa Camargo has experience in global carbon markets, Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD), and developing climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies for private businesses. She has also gathered professional experience in corporate social responsibility, forest governance, and stakeholder management. Camargo has taught International Environmental Law at Vermont Law School, and has professional work experience from Europe, Africa, North and Latin America.
She is fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
