Tapani Pahkasalo, Forest Economist and Regional Manager (China and Southeast Asia), holds a master’s degree in forest economics (M.Sc. For.) from the University of Helsinki (2005).

Tapani Pahkasalo is a forest industry investment specialist with project experience on the emerging markets, especially China, Russia and Latin America. His responsibilities include feasibility studies for investments in the global wood products industry, financial analyses, market research, harvesting and logistics issues and valuation of forestry assets. He has experience on assignments with forest industries and forest products trade covering products from roundwood to sawn timber, wood-based panels and value-added products.
Pahkasalo is fluent in Finnish, English, Spanish, Portuguese and Swedish.
